Leeds United and Stuart McKinstry reach agreement over exit, Cody Drameh transfer also on cards

Leeds United and Stuart McKinstry have reportedly reached an agreement to part ways after his deal runs out at the end of the season.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post [16 May], he will be joining an English club if he fails to get himself a move to a side in his native Scotland.

Along with McKinstry, Cody Drameh is also expected to part ways with Leeds once his six-month loan deal at Luton Town expires.

Summer of change

It seems like another summer of change which was anyway going to happen if the Whites get relegated from the Premier League.

However, even if they stay up, two players appear to be nailed on to leave and there could be many more following them out.

McKinstry was never likely to make it to the first team and it’s best for him if he goes elsewhere to get his future back on track.

For Drameh, Leeds can surely do with him, but they’ve not given him adequate game time in the past and he perhaps feels he can do better things elsewhere.

It remains to be seen which other first-team players quit Elland Road in the summer as there are likely to be a few more exits.

Certain players on the wrong side of 30 have been putting in below-par performances so it makes sense for them to be shipped on.

In other Leeds United news, an exit-bound senior player was spotted in tears after what happened recently.
