Leeds United ace Jack Harrison believes Newcastle on rise amid transfer links

Leeds United attacker Jack Harrison reportedly believes that Newcastle are a club on the rise amid transfer links to Eddie Howe’s side.

According to The Mirror (July 20, Pg.38), the Englishman is not looking to leave this summer but has also not gone on the record to state that he will stay at Elland Road which has left Leeds desperate as they lost both Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips this summer.

As quoted by the Yorkshire Evening Post, when asked about his future, Harrison said, “We’ll see what happens.”

Nerves

It’s hard not to get nervous over another star player leaving Elland Road this summer in what would be a triple blow.

Fans expected one of Raphinha or Kalvin Phillips to depart, but both parting ways with the club came as bit of a shock.

Losing Harrison would be another bitter pill to swallow and hopefully, the club can convince him to stay for at least another year.

Newcastle may be on the rise but they have not shown that to be the case so far and you cannot really guarantee success just because you have extremely rich owners.

Had they been in Europe, one could’ve understood the need for Harrison to leave, but that certainly is not the case and there still is hope.

That said, if there’s a gargantuan bid that comes in for him, we’re not sure if Leeds will bounce it back as it may be something too good to turn down.

In other Leeds United news, Jesse Marsch is extremely keen on bringing an ‘Exceptional’ striker to Elland Road this summer and has learnt his transfer valuation.
