Leeds ace Adam Forshaw posts Instagram message after long-term injury

Leeds United midfielder Adam Forshaw has become somewhat of a forgotten figure at Elland Road in the previous two seasons.

The Whites ace has been suffering from a hip problem and has undergone numerous surgeries, including one in Colorado.

Forshaw has addressed it himself, claiming that he could still return this season to feature for Leeds in the Premier League.

Taking it further, Forshaw has taken to his personal Instagram account this week and addressed his current problem.

“Can’t wait to hopefully put some footy pictures on soon as well,” he wrote.

“Missing it a lot. But great to see the lads doing brilliant.”

It could be a lot worst for Forshaw.

The Whites have been sensational this season, and he has been able to sit back and watch it before going into training and keeping in touch with the squad.

No Man’s Land.

Forshaw will have had a real opportunity to feature for the Whites at this moment in time, with injuries having savaged through the squad.

Kalvin Phillips, Rodrigo, Jamie Shackleton are all ruled out at Elland Road, with Mateusz Klich also a slight doubt for the game against Aston Villa.

The midfielder has only made 20 or more starts in a single season twice since he left Everton back in 2011, and something has to change for him to prolong his career.

As Forshaw mentions, hopefully, he will be back before the end of this campaign, or it will be hard to justify a position in the squad for him next season.
