Leeds United accept £59.2m Raphinha bid from Barcelona
Leeds United have accepted a bid from Barcelona for Raphinha in a deal that could reach £59.2million according to Spanish news outlet Marca.
Marca reported on Tuesday 12 July that an initial £46.5million will be paid with the deal reaching £59.2million with add-ons.
It has been suggested that Leeds want payment guarantees from Barcelona with the fee to be paid in full in the period of one year.

The club hierarchy at Elland Road cannot be blamed for the back-and-forth nature of this deal.

There has been plenty of issues and people to blame for this transfer turning into one of the sagas of the summer.
Raphinha isn’t innocent in the situation with his desire to play for Barcelona making life extremely tough for Leeds.
Barcelona are in an awful situation financially and have been extremely difficult to negotiate with during the summer.
It is good that Leeds have made their desire for payment guarantees clear to the Spanish club.
Leeds need the money to reinvest into their squad and offset the transfer fees they’ve already spent this summer.
It’s a shame the way this transfer saga has panned out.
Leeds fans will be left somewhat annoyed with how the Brazilian has almost forced a move out of Elland Road this summer.
No one can begrudge Raphinha a move to Barcelona, but the manner in which the deal has been concluded isn’t a good look for the 25-year-old and his agent Deco.
