Andy Hinchcliffe shares ‘ludicrous’ Patrick Bamford verdict after what he saw during Leeds United win vs Ipswich Town
Andy Hinchcliffe poked fun at Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford for his questionable haircut during the win over Ipswich Town.
Bamford was introduced for the second half of Saturday’s (23 December) clash with Leeds already 4-0 up, with that proving to be the final score.
The Englishman is still without a goal in 14 appearances this season, but Hinchcliffe was more taken aback by his appearance at Elland Road.

As the camera panned to Bamford during Sky Sports’ coverage of the game [23 December, 2:12pm], Hinchcliffe joked the 30-year-old’s haircut looked “ludicrous”.
Still without a goal
Maybe this is Bamford’s way of reinventing himself, because right now nothing seems to be working for the Leeds attacker.
While Bamford has not been helped by the fact each of his appearances this season have been via the subs’ bench, he needs to start doing more.
When you have Georginio Rutter performing at the level he has been, plus the likes of Joel Piroe, Daniel James and Crysencio Summerville looking undroppable elsewhere in attack, Bamford needs to take every chance that comes his way.

Away from the haircut, Bamford managed just three touches of the ball after being introduced in the 83rd minute against Ipswich, while failing to register any efforts [WhoScored].
It has been a frustrating season for the striker, the low point being his penalty miss against Stoke City in October.
Whatever the appearance, let’s just hope Bamford gets off the mark sooner rather than later so that Daniel Farke has an additional option he can rely on up top.
In other Leeds United news, a talkSPORT pundit was blown away by a moment of “magic” he saw in the Whites’ victory over Ipswich.
