Leeds star ’10/10′ as legs go v Millwall – Sky Sports pundit
Terry Gibson had nothing but good things to say about Leeds United as they beat Millwall 2-0 on Wednesday.
The Whites managed to regain their place at the top of the Championship table and are now two points clear of second-placed Sheffield United.
Although they may have lost 1-0 against Portsmouth on Saturday, Farke seemingly managed to pick his team up and get them back to their best for the clash against the Lions.
All of Leeds’ players deserve praise for their performance but there was one player in particular who impressed Gibson after what he’d seen him do.

Gibson lauds Dan James for his performance against Millwall
The Whites have been on top form this term and have been one of the most dominant forces in the second tier.
Of course, there have been a couple of scary moments here and there but in the end, the West Yorkshire outfit seem to have come out on top.
Dan James has been one of many Leeds players who have been in impeccable form this term with the Welshman key to the way Farke’s system works.
Team | Position | Points |
Leeds United | 1st | 79 |
Sheffield United | 2nd | 77 |
Burnley | 3rd | 75 |
Sunderland | 4th | 69 |
Not only is the winger skillful but he also has a keen eye for goal and isn’t afraid to put in a challenge if he’s needed to.
After yet another solid outing against Millwall, Gibson, while live on Sky Sports+ (12 March, 21:20pm), shared his thoughts on James’ performances this season.
“They might need to make the change, [for] Dan James [but his] attitude [is a] 10/10,” he said.
“Really great just to get forward and support Solomon just as his legs are going.
“He hasn’t got that burst of pace at the end of it but once he gets the ball he gets away from the defenders, he salvages that situation.”

James could be the answer to Leeds United surviving the Premier League
Even though things may have got a little bit dodgy over the last couple of weeks, Leeds seem destined to become a Premier League team next season.
They’ll need to add plenty of new faces to their ranks in order to even stand a chance of surviving in the top flight but if they can keep hold of James, they’ll be heading in the right direction.
The Welshman has been Leeds’ best player this term and although he missed some games at the start of the season due to injury, everything has been going swimmingly for the attacker lately.
He’s contributed to 19 Championship goals thus far and hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down.
If Leeds do earn promotion to the Premier League and want to avoid coming straight back down, building their team around James could be the best way for them to do that.
