Leeds squad turns on Lucas Perri has he’s scolded in public vs Aston Villa
Lucas Perri prompted huge frustration at Leeds United with his performance against Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday.
Leeds lost 2-1 to Villa, with Morgan Rogers’ second-half double intensifying the negative mood around Elland Road on 23 November.
Lukas Nmecha had controversially opened the scoring after just eight minutes of action, but Daniel Farke‘s side could not capitalise on their early lead.
Farke is under serious pressure at Leeds following the loss, with the German appearing to be edging towards the sack.
Leeds are now third-favourites to be relegated from the Premier League, with decision-makers at Elland Road surely weighing up their options.

Lucas Perri publicly lambasted vs Aston Villa
Perri has taken criticism after the goalkeeper looked to easily let Rogers’ 78th-minute free-kick drift past him.
The midfielder’s strike passed over the wall and into the middle of the net, with the Brazilian left only to watch as the ball passed him by.
Joe Hart defended Perri for Rogers’ free-kick, however, with the former Manchester City goalkeeper explaining that the England international’s technique would have made it difficult to stop.
It was a day with little to be positive about for the 27-year-old, who was spotted on the end of some significant flak from his own teammates.
Leeds Live reported that players turned back to “chastise” Perri for not being more commanding in his area on several occasions, with confidence in the Brazilian clearly lacking.
The summer signing only recently returned from injury, but has faced a reintroduction of fire, conceding nine goals in just four appearances.

Elland Road atmosphere quickly turning toxic
Leeds‘ loss to Villa on Sunday felt like a turning point in many respects. The frustration was certainly already there, but much of that feeling turned into outspoken disgruntlement at Elland Road.
Fans chanted for Farke to make a substitution, with one Leeds supporter even attempting to confront the German in the dugout before he was stopped and ejected.
| Leeds United – fixtures | Date |
| Manchester City (A) | 29 Nov |
| Chelsea (H) | 3 Dec |
| Liverpool (H) | 6 Dec |
| Brentford (A) | 14 Dec |
| Crystal Palace (H) | 20 Dec |
With a trip to Manchester City on Saturday coming up for the Whites, and the visits of Chelsea and Liverpool thereafter, there does not seem to be an immediate way out of trouble.
Crunch time is approaching for decision-makers at Elland Road, who must act before it is too late.
