Leeds set to miss key duo against Manchester City as Daniel Farke provides injury update on Anton Stach
Leeds are set to travel to Manchester City on Saturday as they look to end their dreadful run of form.
Daniel Farke is under serious pressure at Elland Road, with the 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa on the weekend leaving the Peacocks in the relegation zone.
Now, with a trip to the Etihad coming up, the West Yorkshire side’s task does not become any easier, with Man City heavily expected to win.
With the match closing in, Farke has now provided an update on the injury situation regarding Anton Stach

Anton Stach set to miss Man City vs Leeds
Stach was taken off with a head injury in the defeat to Aston Villa.
The defensive midfielder went down awkwardly as he jumped for the ball alongside Emi Martinez for the opening goal.
Now, Farke has confirmed in his latest press conference that Stach will definitely miss the Man City clash but will be allowed to train with the team on Sunday.
On top of this, Sean Longstaff is also set to miss the clash, with the manager confirming that the midfielder is out for four to six weeks.

Leeds United aiming for first victory over Man City since 2021
Given the contrasting fortunes of both clubs in the 21st century, it is of little surprise that Man City have often got the better of Leeds.
Pep Guardiola has beaten the Peacocks in his last four meetings, including a 7-0 trashing in December 2021.
However, Leeds did beat Man City 2-1 at the Etihad in April 2021, marking the last time they got a result against Saturday’s opponents.
Now, Farke will be looking to take inspiration from this result as he aims to keep Leeds in the Premier League.
