Leeds plot January move for Adama Traore, Wolves frustrated with stall in talks - report
Leeds United are interested in a shock January move for Wolves superstar Adama Traore, according to 90min.
The online outlet claim that the Spaniard is facing an uncertain future at Molineux, with contract talks appearing to stall this season.
It is suggested that Wolves have become increasingly frustrated with the winger, who was close to putting pen-to-paper on a new deal.
Leeds are said to be an ideal solution for Traore, who could be given the chance to become a key player at Elland Road.
90min suggest that fresh investment from the San Francisco 49ers is imminent, and could give them an extra £50million in funds.
Traore is considering an exit from Molineux and has two strong admirers in Marcelo Bielsa and Victor Orta, who are both in West Yorkshire.
Orta and Traore worked together at Middlesbrough and has strong levels of gratitude towards the director of football who he considers to have reignited his career.
Nuno Espirito Santo has used Traore sparingly this season, with Daniel Podence and Pedro Neto ahead of him in the pecking order.
The 24-year-old has been on the bench the past two matchdays and last started a game in the 1-0 defeat against Aston Villa.
Traore clearly wants to be starting every single week, and with Raul Jiminez injured, there should be a clear spot for the Spanish international.
The winger has yet to register a single goal or assist this season, and that could be the reason behind losing his spot in recent weeks.
Bielsa may be a fan, and Traore appears to meet the physical demands set by El Loco, but his final product must improve for the Whites to consider a big-money move next month.
