Leeds news round-up: Gabriel Gudmundsson slammed for ‘crazy’ moment as exit nears for Harry Gray
Leeds United may not have been in action over the past week, but there is still plenty of news surrounding the West Yorkshire club.
Multiple Leeds players have been out on international duty during the break as they look to potentially secure qualification or prepare for the upcoming World Cup.
For many, there have been mixed fortunes, with some finding success, while others have continued to underperform for their nations.
Now, MOT Leeds News has provided everything you need to know below.

Gabriel Gudmundsson called out in Sweden defeat
One star who has a rotten international break so far is Gabriel Gudmundsson.
After Sweden’s terrible qualifying campaign, the Scandinavian side were looking to return to form under the newly appointed Graham Potter.
However, it would be an awful first match for the former West Ham boss, as they lost 4-1 to Switzerland.
Unfortunately, Gudmundsson played a big part in Sweden’s defeat, with his failed back pass leading to a penalty when the scores were tied in Geneva.
As a result, the national media slammed the Leeds man, with one outlet labelling the attempted pass as “crazy” as Breel Embolo stole in to steal a foul from Viktor Johansson.

Harry Gray set for January loan move away from Leeds United
Away from the international scene and Harry Gray is seen as one of Leeds’ best upcoming talents.
However, so far this season, he has struggled for minutes as Daniel Farke looks to drag the Peacocks away from the relegation zone.
As a result, Gray is linked with a loan move away from Leeds, with multiple Championship clubs interested ahead of the winter window.

Charlton Athletic, Derby County, Hull City, and Swansea City have watched the youngster in person, with a prior family link to Charlton potentially giving them an advantage.
Leeds aiming to prevent unwanted record against Aston Villa
Once the international break comes to an end, Leeds will host Villa in a challenging match.
The Birmingham outfit have recently returned to form and are on the hunt for European football once again.
Recent years have been kind to Villa, with it feeling a lifetime ago when Leeds were competing with the club in the Championship for promotion.

However, the Peacocks have struggled against their upcoming opponents in recent years, with Leeds without a home goal against Villa in their last three meetings at Elland Road.
The West Yorkshire side have never previously gone four without scoring against a single opponent, so they will need at least one goal to prevent this unwanted record on Sunday.
