Leeds news round-up: 49ers stance on Daniel Farke shared as fine now likely
Leeds United have two weeks to reflect on Saturday’s 2-1 loss to Tottenham at Elland Road.
Noah Okafor’s strike was not enough as Leeds were beaten by Tottenham on home soil for only their second defeat in seven Premier League outings.
Daniel Farke will be happy with Leeds‘ points return at this stage, but his men are not back in action now until 18 October against Burnley.
There is still plenty of news surrounding the West Yorkshire club, though, with MOT Leeds News rounding up the biggest stories from the past 24 hours.

Sky Sports drop new Leeds transfer update
The transfer window may not open for a little under three months, but that is not to say Leeds will not already be looking at possible targets.
Indeed, Sky Sports News reported on Tuesday that Leeds are monitoring the market for new wingers in January.
Fulham’s Harry Wilson was namechecked as “one to watch” for Leeds, having missed out on him right at the end of the summer window.
The report added that Leeds are also wary of PSR, which restricts them somewhat in terms of who can be signed.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin plan laid out as Leeds concerns grow stronger
Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s Leeds career has not truly got going yet, having scored just once in five appearances, albeit the majority of those as a substitue.
However, speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, renowned football commentator Ian Darke urged Leeds to show patience in Calvert-Lewin.
“Keep playing him and build his confidence and keep him fit in the hope that the goals will come, but if we’re being honest about Calvert-Lewin, goals haven’t really come in a flood for him,” Darke said.
“So when you buy Calvert-Lewin, I don’t think it would be in the expectation that he was going to get 20 goals in a season for you.

“I think they’d punch the air in delight if they could get 12-15 goals out of him in the league this season, but he’s got to be a little bit sharper in front of goal than he was at the weekend.”
Leeds set for fine as severe punishment to rise – ‘You just can’t do it’
The Football Association are investigating Leeds after fans chucked objects towards both Mohammed Kudus and Pedro Porro during the loss to Spurs.
Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, football finance expert Dan Plumley said a fine looks guaranteed for Leeds, but harsher punishments could follow.
“That’s the risk you’re running,” Plumley said. “You just can’t do it, and you know the club is going to get hit in the pocket, and you know that for multiple offences, the severity of those fines tends to go up.
“It’s the only way that the authorities can really deal with it, so we don’t want to see it, and we know it happens still, and there’s no other way it goes. If it carries on, that pound number on the fine number will get higher ultimately.”
49ers Enterprises make Daniel Farke decision at Leeds
49ers sacked Russell Martin at Scottish giants Rangers on Sunday, showing that they are not afraid to get rid if needs be.
Farke is not a man under immediate pressure, which has not always been the case, yet that decision may have him looking over his shoulder somewhat.
However, it has been reported that 49ers chiefs have no plans to sack Farke, even if they believe Leeds could have had even more points at this stage.
Leeds play Burnley, West Ham, Brighton and Nottingham Forest after the international break.
