Leeds left fuming by major Conor Gallagher update
Leeds United have missed out on the chance of signing Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher on Thursday.
The England youth international had visited Thorp Arch and even undergone a medical ahead of a loan switch [90min].
Crystal Palace have now won the race though, and Gallagher looks set for that Selhurst Park switch for next season.

Leeds haven’t been left best pleased by his choice.
90min editor Krishan Davis has backed up the initial story on his personal Twitter account, insisting the Whites have been left fuming.
“Conor Gallagher had been set to join Leeds on loan before having his head turned by Palace at the last minute – had agreed terms & even had a medical,” he wrote.
“Leeds, unsurprisingly, fuming.”
Rage.
Should Gallagher have actually had visited Thorp Arch, and completed his medical as reported, Leeds will be raging.
Given that he played for Chelsea against Bournemouth last night in a pre-season friendly, it appears unlikely that will have actually happened.
Marcelo Bielsa wants his players at Thorp Arch ready for training when on the verge of signing, not playing 90 minutes elsewhere and risking injury.
El Loco was very keen on Gallagher, so he will be unhappy, but Victor Orta will already have his eye elsewhere given this blow.
Leeds won’t be feeling sorry for themselves, and will only want players who are desperate to play for the club and pull on that shirt.
Gallagher may not have been guaranteed the minutes he wanted, but the ambition and drive has to be there to earn it.
