Leeds in ‘troubled water’ prediction ahead of Swansea clash at Elland Road
Leeds United will be determined to return to winning ways when they face Swansea at Elland Road on Saturday.
The Whites went into the international break on the back of a 2-2 draw with QPR at Loftus Road on 15 March, allowing Sheffield United to go level on points with them in the Championship.
As Leeds enter the final stretch of the season, Daniel Farke will be keen to ensure there are no further slip-ups, starting with the home game against Swansea on 29 March.
Not only are the Swans without a permanent manager, but they are also on a four-game winless run in their travels in the Championship, meaning the stage is set for the Elland Road outfit to run riot.

Sam Parkin predicts Leeds v Swansea scoreline
Sam Parkin does not see any chance that Swansea will cause an upset at Elland Road, having been unimpressed by their performances under interim manager Alan Sheehan.
Team | Matches | Wins | Draws | Losses | Goal Difference | Points |
1. Leeds | 38 | 23 | 11 | 4 | 51 | 80 |
16. Swansea | 38 | 12 | 8 | 18 | -11 | 44 |
The former Luton ace fears there is “troubled water” ahead for the Welsh giants and thus predicted a thumping 4-0 victory for Leeds on Saturday.
“I’m going to go 4-0 [for Leeds United]”, Parkin said on Benjamin Bloom’s YouTube channel (25 March).
“I’m going to predict some troubled water ahead for Swansea. I have not loved some of their performances.
“So, I think this could be a real struggle for them. I’m going to go 4-0.”
Farke to use Elland Road advantage
While Swansea have not won each of their last four away games in the Championship, it is worth noting that they have won two of their last five fixtures, conceding just three times in the process.
Therefore, it would be naive for Leeds to take Sheehan and Co lightly when they visit West Yorkshire on Saturday.
That is why Farke will look to put the Elland Road advantage to good use.
The Whites have truly made Elland Road their fortress this season, with their only league defeat there coming against Burnley in September.
They succumbed to a 2-0 loss against Millwall at home in the FA Cup in February, but that will not deter them from trying to put Swansea to the sword.
