Leeds have new date for Old Trafford trip as Man United fixture rescheduled – Details here

Leeds United will now take on Manchester United on Monday 13 April at Old Trafford.

The game, which was originally scheduled to kick off at 3pm on Saturday 11 April, has now been moved for broadcast reasons.

Daniel Farke’s side will now make the short trip to Manchester two days later, with kick-off at 8pm on Monday evening.

The rest of Leeds‘ fixtures across April will remain at their original time and date for now, but some matches could be moved if the Whites progress further in the FA Cup.

Who are Leeds playing before Man United?

Leeds have two Premier League games and an FA Cup fifth-round tie before they face Man United at Old Trafford.

This Sunday, the Whites welcome Norwich to Elland Road as they look to progress into the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

Farke’s side then continues their Premier League survival push as they take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on 15 March.

The following weekend, Brentford come to town in the final top-flight game before the last international break of the season.

Leeds will then have an FA Cup quarter-final tie on the weekend of 4 April if they beat Norwich, before a trip to Man United on 13 April.

What happened in the reverse fixture against Man United?

Leeds drew 1-1 with Man United at Elland Road back at the start of January, in what ended up being Ruben Amorim’s final game in charge of the Red Devils.

Brenden Aaronson opened the scoring for the hosts just past the hour mark, latching onto a long ball and finishing past Senne Lammens.

Farke’s side were only ahead for a matter of minutes, though, as Matheus Cunha quickly equalised for Man United.

A draw was probably a fair result in the end, but Leeds will want to go one better at Old Trafford and take home all three points.
