It’s been a tough 2020 but the single scariest moment was the first quarter of the game against Man City. Rodrigo will be the saviour this season.

Leeds United winger Ian Poveda is back in training at Thorp Arch and it seems that Rodrigo is as well.

Rodrigo was injured in the game against Leicester when he landed awkwardly and Poveda then got injured playing for the Under-23s.

Bielsa said at the beginning of February that they would be out for weeks. rather than days.

Almost two weeks later, both players are now back on the grass.

One eagle-eyed fan spotted Poveda training in the background during the Under-23s game between Leeds and Reading at Thorp Arch on Monday.

He took a snapshot from the footage on LUTV and you can see Poveda at the back.

You can watch the full Under-23s match and go Poveda-spotting yourself on the Leeds YouTube page.

Rodrigo posted an Instagram message on Monday that showed he's back as well. He added a message to that saying, "Day by day".

Rodrigo is needed

The game against Wolves on Friday would make it almost three weeks out for both players, which would fit in with what Bielsa had said.

If that comes too soon, and given that Bielsa likes his injured players to come back in via the Under-23s, all eyes will be on the team news for their next game.

They also play on Friday against Norwich at the Lotus Training Ground and then don't play again until March 1.

Both players are important for Leeds but Rodrigo is the one we need back as soon as possible.

Leeds are a much better team with him in it, especially as Pablo Hernandez isn't getting any game-time.

Stuart Dallas has been playing brilliantly in midfield but we need someone like Rodrigo to add the creativity and vision, and to unlock defences.
