Leeds fire cash offer at Newcastle for Freddie Woodman
Leeds United have stepped up their interest in Newcastle United goalkeeper Freddie Woodman this week.
Graham Smyth shared that the England youth international was one of three names on Victor Orta’s shortlist to replace Kiko Casilla.
It appears as though action has already been taken, with suggestions that Woodman is more than just a name on a list.

Lee Ryder of the Chronicle has reported just how serious this interest is.
After missing pre-season training with Newcastle this week, it is reported that Leeds have fired a cash offer for the keeper.
Woodman is said to be in the capital in his home town but was expected to finally join up with that training camp ahead of some games this weekend.
That brings the 24-year-old to Yorkshire, and much closer to Elland Road should that offer be accepted or improved.

Movement.
It appears as though the Whites have made the first move for the keeper ahead of Swansea and Celtic this summer.
Should Woodman take some part in either of those friendlies this weekend, he would be in the perfect place to seal his move.
There are suggestions that Woodman doesn’t favour a move to Leeds due to the fact he may have to start as number two behind Illan Meslier.
You can’t expect to just turn up and be handed the number one shirt at Premier League level, and it doesn’t show a great attitude.
Ryder hasn’t shared whether the offer was accepted or not, but given it was last week, it would have been leaked elsewhere if it was.
Things can change very quickly in the market, and Woodman could still yet be tempted to make the switch, over to you Victor.
