Farke had to face similar sack questions at Elland Road a few weeks into the 2025-26 campaign after an underwhelming start in the English top flight.
The West Yorkshire outfit stuck by the former Norwich City boss and now find themselves in some comfort after opening up a significant gap with the relegation zone.

Adonis Storr believes Farke doesn’t get enough credit for developing some key talent at Leeds.
The award-winning journalist feels Ilia Gruev’s performance against Nottingham Forest in the league on 6 February highlights the work the German manager has done.
In the 3-1 victory at Elland Road, the Bulgaria international provided two assists and controlled the midfield, reminding everyone of his abilities and talent.
Writing in BBC Sport on 10 February, Storr said, “One of the things the Leeds manager perhaps hasn’t been given enough credit for is improving players; and Gruev’s performance has shown that even Leeds fans don’t know how good this team could be.”
