Leeds fans aim jibe at Man Utd during Carabao Cup clash v Arsenal
Leeds United suffered a 2-0 defeat against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup clash on Tuesday night at the Emirates.
The Whites did really well to keep it 0-0 at half-time, but goals from Calum Chambers and Eddie Nketiah in the second half changed the complexion of the game.
Marcelo Bielsa made as many as five changes during the game, but the substitutes failed to make an impact.
The Times journalist Henry Winter has claimed on Twitter that at half-time Leeds fans were signing “Ole’s at the wheel”, making a sarcastic jibe at their rivals Manchester United.
The Red Devils lost 5-0 against their arch-rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday. United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was heavily criticised in the press, and there were even suggestions that he could be sacked.
However, Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Solskjaer is set to keep his job for now, after getting the backing of Sir Alex Ferguson.

The rivalry between the two clubs has been well documented. There have been some great encounters throughout history, and also some in-famous transfers that further added spice to the rivalry.
Since Leeds returned to the Premier League, they have suffered some heavy defeats against United, but it’s fair to have some banter in the game, especially when your rivals are struggling.
The defeat against the Gunners and subsequent exit from the competition certainly wasn’t ideal, but the Whites now have to focus on their next must-win Premier League game against Norwich on Sunday.
