Leeds duo clash in on-pitch argument despite 5-0 win over West Brom - report
Leeds United players showed just what they are about when they hammered West Brom 5-0 at The Hawthorns on Tuesday night.
Romaine Sawyers’ own-goal, followed by goals by Ezjgan Alioski, Jack Harrison, Rodrigo and Raphinha secured a superb win after a classy performance in the West Midlands.
Marcelo Bielsa’s men showed real heart, passion and desire in that win which, according to LeedsLive, spilt over into an argument between Mateusz Klich and Luke Ayling in the second-half.
Ayling was reportedly annoyed by Klich going down injured during a West Brom attack but it is understood the two players had clearly forgotten about the tiff at full-time when the win and clean sheet was secured.
Clean sheets vital
Ever the 6-2 defeat to Manchester United, Leeds were questioned for their inability to keep opponents at bay.

The Whites were leaking shots left, right and centre and conceding goals regularly.
However, since that, the Yorkshire club has kept clean sheets and secured 1-0 and 5-0 wins against Burnley and West Brom respectively.
While we appreciate they’re not Man United, to keep both team’s attackers quiet says a lot about how the defence – and Bielsa – have responded to the criticism.
Ayling was mad at Klich because he wanted 110 per cent effort from the Poland international and he might not have realised that he was actually injured.
The Leeds defender just wanted a clean sheet and was angry that the Baggies came close to ruining that.
That just shows how committed Ayling is and we love that.
