Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa pictured reading scout report on 20y/o Euro talent

Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa has been pictured analysing FC St. Pauli midfielder Finn Ole Becker.

The 20-year-old German featured 28 times for the Bundesliga 2 side last season, scoring once.

And it would appear that the Whites are keeping tabs on the prodigious talent.

One supporter was fortunate enough to run into Bielsa at a local branch of Costa Coffee, and had their photo taken with the Argentine.

That image was then uploaded to Reddit, and Leeds fans being the diligent detectives that they are, it didn’t take long for them to figure out what was on the piece of paper in front of the boss.

While it’s unclear as to what exactly Bielsa is looking at in terms of his analytics, there’s no doubting that he is definitely reading a document entitled ‘Finn Ole Becker, FC St. Pauli, 2019-20’.

This is why we love Bielsa so much.

A true man of the people, he’s always happy to interact with fans, but he never, ever stops working either.

The man is truly obsessed with the game, and we have seen time and time again over his first two seasons at the club that his meticulous nature really pays dividends.

In terms of the player that Leeds would be getting if they made a move for Becker, he looks like a real prospect.

According to trusted analytics account MRKT Insights, the youngster is a serious talent who is good enough for the Premier League.

His stats often ranks him above the 75th percentile compared to his peers, and his defensive stats are “off the charts”, according to MRKT.

Bielsa will no doubt know this already, and if he does decide to pursue a move this summer, the Whites could be in the running to pick themselves up an absolute bargain.

In other Leeds United news, this Sky pundit has been raving about a “dynamic” Leeds-linked forward.
