Leeds and Huddersfield not million miles apart in Lewis O’Brien valuation
Leeds United and Huddersfield Town were not a million miles apart in their valuations of Lewis O’Brien this week.
Graham Smyth has shared that while nothing is imminent at this moment, but both clubs could return to the table for more talks.
With only three weeks left in the current window, there are still a midfielder and a winger on the wishlist.

Writing for the Yorkshire Evening Post, Smyth shared the major update with more talks expected sooner rather than later.
“While nothing is imminent or even ongoing – all was quiet as the week began – The Yorkshire Evening Post understands the two parties were not a million miles apart in their valuation,” he wrote.
“If Leeds and Huddersfield do return to the table and thrash out a deal as the window nears its end, it won’t be the most glamorous signing of the summer and O’Brien is not the box-ready Premier League starter or international some were hoping for
“But a lot about this one would make sense.”

Get it done.
This would be sensible, not every signing has to be a huge name from a major European league this summer.
O’Brien screams determination, fitness and that never-say-die attitude that you need to star under Bielsa.
The 22-year-old could be available for £10million, with the Sun reporting that talks had been intensifying across the past fortnight.
Victor Orta is said to be glued to his phone in this final month of the window, although nothing appears to be imminent.
There have been glowing recommendations for O’Brien from our close rivals, and hopefully, he can prove those wrong who don’t believe in him should he eventually arrive at Elland Road.
It looks as though we will be going into our Premier League opener at Manchester United without another signing in the bank.
