Leeds United attacker Crysencio Summerville suffers training knock as he lies on the floor for minutes

Leeds United attacker Crysencio Summerville was reportedly spotted lying on the floor for minutes in the training match on 5 December.

According to LeedsLive, Marc Roca tackled Summerville in an attempt to win the ball which ended up being a sore one for the Dutch winger.

The medical staff attended to him but the 21-year-old was unable to play no further part in the game as he hobbled off the pitch.

Injuries galore

Diego Llorente, Junior Firpo, Illan Meslier are all out because of some reason while Stuart Dallas is still a long-term injury absentee.

The last thing Jesse Marsch wants is for another player to be ruled out because of injury and we’re hoping that Summerville’s is not a serious one.

He did shrug it off well and it does not appear to be that bad, but one can never tell with these things and he’ll have a better idea on Tuesday.

Summerville was Leeds’ in-form player before the World Cup break and Marsch would hate to not have him available for the games once the league resumes.

The club have not made an official statement about it and whenever the American is quizzed by the media, he will be asked those questions, surely.

We cannot wait for all the players who featured at the World Cup to return to the fold as it’s going to be a fight to the finish until May now.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites are now scouting an attacker at the World Cup and a January move appears to be on the cards for them.
