Lee Trundle predicts Leeds United showdown v Swansea City
Lee Trundle has predicted a 1-1 draw between Leeds United and Swansea City in the Championship when the two meet after the international break.
Luke Williams’ team will welcome the Whites to their home on 24 November, with the Peacocks looking to build on their 2-0 victory over QPR before the break.
Trundle, who played for Leeds and Swansea, was pressed to give a score prediction on The Sportsman podcast [18 November] and believes the fixture will end in a stalemate.
“Do you know what? I’m going to go one all.”
Leeds United need to continue winning run v Swansea
The Elland Road faithful have high expectations from the Whites this season and expect promotion back into the Premier League.
After missing out on promotion in the previous campaign, losing 1-0 to Southampton in the play-offs final, the Whites need to ensure they get over the line this time.
Poor results towards the end of last term meant that Daniel Farke’s team missed out on automatic promotion.
This time around, Leeds can’t let the same thing happen, and they need to be wary after the 1-0 loss at Millwall in the Championship on 6 November.
The Whites are currently third in the table, but the chasing pack of Burnley, West Brom and Watford are right on their tail.

Swansea have been average going forward and in defence, scoring 11 goals and conceding 10 in the Championship.
Farke’s team have the opportunity to get a winning run going and the German will surely be rearing to have his team ready after the international break.
