Largie Ramazani drops huge Junior Firpo exit hint in three-word Leeds message
Largie Ramazani has dropped a major hint about Junior Firpo’s future at Leeds United.
Firpo has played a key role in Leeds‘ road to Premier League promotion this season, bagging four goals and 10 assists in 32 Championship appearances.
However, the left-back faces an uncertain future at Elland Road, as his contract runs out at the end of the season in June.
In the wake of the Whites’ promotion, Firpo admitted that he is unsure if an extension is in the pipeline, raising further question marks about his time in West Yorkshire.

Ramazani sends contract message to Firpo
Meanwhile, Ramazani may have unknowingly shed light on Firpo’s contract situation at Leeds following their 4-0 win against Bristol City at Elland Road on Monday, 28 April.
The attacker grabbed headlines after scoring two goals in a nine-minute cameo and later took to social media to express his delight at getting back on the scoresheet for the first time since January.
Firpo was among those who responded to the said post, tipping his hat to the 24-year-old for his performance.
“Some player”, Firpo wrote on Instagram (29 April) along with a fire emoji.
Matches | Goals | Assists | Minutes per Goal |
32 | 4 | 10 | 656′ |
Ramazani, though, had priorities, as he urged the left-back to commit his future to Leeds without further hesitation.
“Sing the ting!”, he wrote along with a rolling eyes emoji.

Firpo could leave Leeds
While Firpo has yet to respond to Ramazani’s message, the comment suggests that the defender’s contract situation is still at a standstill.
The Belgian’s message also hints that Leeds may have already made a contract offer to Firpo, and it is the former Barcelona man who is stalling on the agreement.
If that is the case, the Dominican Republic international could be all set to put an end to his four-year spell with the Whites.
On the flipside, the fact that Ramazani is discussing Firpo’s contract situation on a social media platform might mean he knows something that the public does not know yet.
There could be a final twist on the cards at Elland Road that sees Firpo commit his future to the newly-promoted Premier League side.
