'Can't wait', 'Time to be the hero' - Tweet from rarely-seen Leeds ace gets plenty of fans hyped
Leeds United fans have flocked to a Diego Llorente tweet sent late on Friday night after the defender hinted at a return to action.
The 27-year-old kept things simple and straight to the point, posting an image that would look at home in a matchday programme, along with the caption ‘Marching on Together’.
Most intriguing is that the image contains details about Leeds’ clash with Brighton, which suggests the centre-back is set return to the team on Saturday.
The Spain international has been missing for almost the entire campaign since arriving in the summer, and has only made just one appearance for the club.
Having arrived for around £18million, a lot of expectation surrounds the defender, and that’s why his message has sparked a great deal of excitement.
Llorente was pulled from the Under-23s on Monday with a view to a full week of first-team training and Marcelo Bielsa confirmed he would be available for the Brighton game.

It will be very interesting if he does start against the Seagulls, as Ben White will likely feature for the away side – providing fans with a chance to directly compare the two.
If Llorente can start games soon and begin to impress he is likely to drum up a tremendous amount of enthusiasm, and of course, he could help to improve our defensive record.
Here are some of the things being said to Llorente in anticipation of his return to action.
Can’t wait to properly see you play 💙💛
