Karen Carney delivers Leeds United and Everton relegation prediction as Leicester City lose to Liverpool

Karen Carney sees Leeds United and Leicester City getting relegated but fancies Everton to stay in the Premier League next season.

Leicester’s survival hopes took a further dent after they suffered a 3-0 loss to Liverpool and Carney was not impressed with their defending.

A similar pattern has been noticed by her in the way Leeds play and for that reason, in her view, both sides are in the drop zone.

Speaking on Premier League Productions, Carney said, “Yeah I think they [Leicester] are going down. I can’t see how they keep clean sheets, same with Leeds.”

Michael Owen then said that he sees Everton staying up and she seconded his view.

Need a win

Leeds cannot afford to lose another game this season and two draws also may not be enough for them to stay up.

They need a win from somewhere and the best chance is against West Ham who are all but assured of Premier League safety.

They’ve even been resting players for the UEFA Conference League so David Moyes’ clearly not worried about relegation.

If they make it to the final, one can expect them to rest players against Leeds as well and that’s a huge boost for Sam Allardyce.

He would welcome playing a weakened West Ham side and would want to get one over his former employers too.

Leeds have everything to play for and if they can show the fight they did in parts against Newcastle and Manchester City, they have every reason to believe that they can get the three points.

In other Leeds United news, an exit-bound senior player was spotted in tears after what happened recently.
