Kalvin Phillips turns up pressure on Leeds United for new contract – report
Kalvin Phillips has turned up the pressure on Leeds United to seal a new contract with the club, according to the Daily Mirror.
The newspaper have reported in their print edition (07 February), that the Yorkshire Pirlo is “keener than ever” to sign a new deal at Elland Road.
This comes after West Ham saw numerous offers batted away for Phillips towards the end of the January transfer window.

Phillips piling up the pressure doesn’t quite sound like him, but he would have every single right to do so.
Leeds need to show their ambition here, and the fact that they haven’t got this one sorted yet is somewhat worrying.
The Yorkshire Pirlo has been one of our standout performers for years now alongside Raphinha and Patrick Bamford.
Bamford got his reward with a new deal and rising up towards the highest-paid players, the other do must be handed that same right now.

Get it done.
If Radrizzani only does two things between now and the end of the season, every Leeds fan would likely pick these two contracts.
Phillips and Raphinha need new long-term deals, mainly to protect the club, but also to reward them for their shining roles at Elland Road.
Clubs are going to come calling, we know that, but it is about being in the best possible position when that eventually happens.
West Ham were never going to be successful with their bids, but it was the first warning of many to come for the Whites.
It is time for Radrizzani and the 49ers Enterprise to show their passion and ambition for the club, get these contracts sorted.
