Kalvin Phillips set to make first Leeds United appearance in months v Wolves – David Anderson
Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips is set to make his first appearance since December against Wolves, according to David Anderson.
Jesse Marsch confirmed that the Yorkshire Pirlo is finally available after his hamstring injury, but didn’t share whether it would only be a spot on the bench.
The Mirror journalist, Anderson, dropped that Phillips isn’t set to just make the numbers at Molineux tomorrow evening.

Writing in his latest column for the Mirror, Anderson shared the latest team news coming from the Whites ahead of tomorrow.
“Phillips, 26, will make his first appearance since December 5 at Wolves on Friday after recovering from hamstring surgery and Marsch has explained his new role to him,” he wrote.
“Phillips played as the single midfield pivot in Marcelo Bielsa’s favoured 4-1-4-1 formation and Marsch wants to use more like England do in a holding pair.”
Start?
It would be brave if Marsch was to throw Phillips straight back into the side, but that is just how important he is.
The Whites have been cautious with the midfielder, so he wouldn’t be back in full training, if he wasn’t ready to start at Molineux.
Imagine the boost everyone around him would get if he was named in that starting XI? It would be incredible.
Liam Cooper also being back is huge.
The skipper may get his large number of critics, but his leadership has been more than sorely missed at the back since December.
Beating Norwich was the start of a new chapter at Elland Road as we hope for survival, and having Cooper and Phillips back available is just another piece of huge news.
Bring tomorrow on.
