Kalvin Phillips sends six-word message as Leeds United confirm Adam Forshaw exit
Manchester City ace Kalvin Phillips has sent a six-word message to Adam Forshaw after his Leeds United exit was confirmed.
Forshaw has left the Whites after his contract expired last month, as confirmed by the official Leeds website (22 July).
And his former Leeds teammate Phillips has been among the many players wishing the player all the best following his Elland Road exit.

Saying farewell to Leeds, Forshaw posted on Instagram: “Memories to last a lifetime for me and my family. Was a privilege and pleasure to play for a such a great club. Wish everyone involved with Leeds all the best for the future. MOT.”
Sharing the post on his Instagram story, Phillips wrote: “What a legend. All the best.”

Warm wishes
Forshaw is currently on the receiving end of plenty of well-wishes after his exit from Elland Road was confirmed.
There was seemingly potential for the midfielder to stay on for another season, but that potential has been brought to an end with the official confirmation that he will move on after five years at the club.
He may not have been the standout player at the West Yorkshire club over recent years, but Forshaw’s determination and passion helped him forge a strong bond with his teammates and the Elland Road faithful.
Manager Daniel Farke perhaps could have done with the 31-year-old’s experience and know-how in the Championship next season, with the midfielder boasting over 100 appearances in the competition.
But it isn’t to be, with a new challenge now awaiting the former Middlesbrough and Brentford man.
As for Farke, he has now lost a whole host of senior players, with the manager not really able to afford to lose many more as the season draws closer.
In other Leeds United news, Mateusz Klich and Pablo Hernandez have shared an instant reaction to Forshaw’s Elland Road exit.
