Kalvin Phillips hails Leeds United fans after 3-0 win v Watford
Kalvin Phillips has branded the Leeds United fans as “class” for their support in the away end at Vicarage Road.
The Whites have now picked up their third win in the last four Premier League games under Jesse Marsch after beating Watford 3-0.
Goals from Raphina, Rodrigo, and Jack Harrison sealed all three points for the visitors on Saturday.
BBC journalist Jonathan Buchan posted a video where Phillips was seen celebrating with the fans at the final whistle.
The England midfielder took to Twitter to write: “Away end was class again today.”
Huge win
The victory lifts Leeds nine points clear of the relegation zone, although they have played two more games than Burnley.
The Clarets have a chance to close the gap, but the Whites should look to focus on their own results instead. They are within the touching distance of safety.
Every point is crucial at the moment, and one can see that there’s confidence and momentum in the side, as they have picked up 10 points out of a possible 12.

The Whites boss will be happy to see his side keeping a clean sheet, while some of the individual performances have been nothing short of outstanding.
One of the players who have improved a lot is Jack Harrison. The winger has been putting in some very good performances and grabbed a brilliant goal to put the icing on the cake.
Raphinha has been excellent as ever and the Brazilian has now taken his goal tally to 10 in the league.
