Weston McKennie unlikely to feature again for Leeds United
Weston McKennie looks like he will leave Leeds United and return to his parent club Juventus after an underwhelming spell on loan at Elland Road.
According to Tuttosport [26 May], an exit is very much on the cards for him once his loan deal expires.
Despite not performing too well for the Old Lady, he found that he had fit well into the dressing room and preferred being there rather than fighting a relegation battle in West Yorkshire.
In a must-win game for Sam Allardyce, he surely would not want to start players who do not have anything to lose.
The American is going to be on his way out anyway and it makes sense not to include him in the starting eleven for this one.
McKennie did not have a good time at Leeds and most fans will be relieved to see the back of him regardless of what happens.

Even if the Whites stay up, it’s not worth it to invest a near club-record sum on a player who’s not even strengthening the first team.
He didn’t shine in the limited chances under Jesse Marsch and did nothing under Javi Gracia or Sam Allardyce.
There’s no surprise Juventus are happy to let go of him as they’ve got players that are far more talented than the American.
It remains to be seen if he’s retained by the Old Lady as they can also do far better than him if they want to bolster their midfield.
Leeds’ biggest challenge will be to retain some of their other key players who most certainly would not want to stick around in the Championship.
In other Leeds United news, Phil Hay claims that an international player at Elland Road has no place at the club next season and a summer transfer is on the cards.
