Junior Firpo sends Bogle new message after Leeds United exit
Junior Firpo’s departure has served as an early blow to Leeds United’s hopes of surviving in the Premier League.
The left-back was exceptional as the West Yorkshire outfit raced to the Championship title last term, notching four goals and 10 assists as his side secured their return to the top flight.
Firpo had been tipped to join Real Betis after his Leeds deal expired for several weeks, and confirmation of his return to his former club finally arrived last week.
Daniel Farke will be frustrated to have lost a player who was such an integral part of his team last time out, but it had been clear for a long while that the defender had been angling for a move.

Firpo’s message to Bogle after Man United clash
Leeds have likely already sourced Firpo’s replacement in Gabriel Gudmundsson, with the Swede arriving from French side Lille at the start of July.
The 26-year-old will be looking to bring balance to the Whites’ backline, and he should be capable of providing a similar level of quality to Jayden Bogle on the other side of Farke’s rearguard.
The pair both got their first minutes of the summer in the friendly against Manchester United on Saturday (19 July).
Leeds played out a goalless draw with their bitter rivals in Stockholm, in what was the opening clash of their pre-season campaign.
Farke handed minutes to the vast majority of the squad, including several younger players, but Bogle was one of the stars who played for well over an hour.
The right-back took to Instagram after the game to deliver the following message: “First minutes of 25/26, thank you Stockholm.”
Firpo then issued a message of his own to his former teammate, as he commented: “How greedy” on Bogle’s post.
Bogle will play a key role for Leeds this season
Bogle had an impressive campaign for Leeds in his own right last time out, as he was named in the EFL’s Championship Team of the Season at the end of the year.
The former Sheffield United and Derby County man chipped in with six goals and four assists, and although it will be hard for him to hit a similar level of production in the Premier League, he will still play a key role for his side.

The Whites will have to bed in numerous new signings in the early stages of the season, but players like Bogle will help to establish a level of continuity and ensure that everyone immediately knows exactly what it takes to play for a club of Leeds’ stature.
The 24-year-old has only spent one season at Elland Road, but he has already become a consistent, key performer for the team, and they will need him to be on top form once again next term.
