Jorgen Strand Larsen deal back on at Leeds United after new agreement
Leeds United could yet potentially beat Crystal Palace to sign Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen in the winter transfer window.
Palace were said to be close to reaching an agreement for Strand Larsen, leaving the Whites behind with their £50million package deal.
Daniel Farke doesn’t have an alternative target for the number nine position at Elland Road, but it looks like they may get another chance to get a deal over the line for the Norway international.
The West Yorkshire outfit see the 25-year-old centre-forward’s availability as a market opportunity, and they could possibly go ahead in the race for his signature again.

Crystal Palace deal for Leeds United target Jorgen Strand Larsen uncertain
Palace’s move for Strand Larsen may be in jeopardy after reaching an agreement with Aston Villa for Evann Guessand, according to The Telegraph.
The news outlet reports on 29 January that sources have suggested the Eagles could potentially pull the plug on signing the Norwegian striker, which will undoubtedly be good news at Elland Road.
It’s been claimed that the South London outfit are set to sign Guessand on loan from Villa Park, with an option to buy him at the end of the season.
As a result, there’s now uncertainty around Palace going through with signing the Wolves attacker, and that could open the door for the Whites to return with an offer for him.
Strand Larsen remains of interest at Elland Road despite Palace being close to securing his signature, and it will be interesting to see how the situation unfolds in the coming hours.
Daniel Farke to push for Jorgen Strand Larsen behind scenes after latest injury update
Farke has revealed Lukas Nmecha has picked up another injury, with the German forward’s consistent fitness issues arguably frustrating.
Leeds signed the 27-year-old as a free agent last summer, but he’s started just six games in the Premier League this season.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin has had his own injury problems in the past, and Joel Piroe doesn’t seem to be trusted by the German manager anymore.
While Farke says Nmecha’s situation hasn’t affected the West Yorkshire outfit’s plans for the winter window, he might be desperate to complete the Strand Larsen deal behind the scenes.
