Impressive win
The Whites struggled in the early stages of the new Championship season, seemingly failing to convert their draws into wins.
But that might have changed now, with the Elland Road club on a superb run of form, with their latest result sending a message to their fellow promotion chasers.
Rutter may not have got on the scoresheet against the Hornets, but its looks like he enjoyed himself nonetheless, with Daniel Farke handing the youngster 90 minutes in front of his home supporters, who are warming to the player.
It comes amid his huge struggles in the Premier League last time out, although he definitely wasn’t the only Leeds player to impress in the top flight last season.
The three points take the West Yorkshire club’s tally to 13, level with Sunderland and just two off Hull City, who are in fourth place.
Farke may, however, be encouraging his players to focus on their own results, with that strategy certainly working in recent times.
