Joel Piroe risks losing Leeds United place after what he did v Bristol City
Joel Piroe put in an underwhelming performance as he led the line for Leeds United in the 0-0 draw against Bristol City in the Championship.
The Dutch national started his fourth consecutive game on 26 October for Daniel Farke but could not make an impact at Ashton Gate.
It was Willy Gnonto who had the best opportunity in the game, though, only to see Zak Vyner block his shot on the line with Piroe as a passenger.
Joel Piroe hurt chances at Leeds United
Farke must be reconsidering his plans after the game against Bristol City, with the Peacocks lacking any sort of attacking threat and initiative.
With Piroe leading the line, there were high expectations of him, but it looks like starting his fourth consecutive game in the league was too much for the forward.

The 25-year-old played 70 minutes and managed 72 per cent passing accuracy at Ashton Gate, managed just one shot, which was off target and had an xG rating of 0.01, as per FotMob.
In Leeds’ seven opening games of the season in the Championship, Piroe was a substitute.
Having contributed heavily despite the lack of minutes, the attacker has found himself leading the line for the Whites in recent weeks after goals against the likes of Coventry, Hull and Sunderland.
With Joseph waiting to prove himself from the start again, Piroe looks to be at risk for the Elland Road clash against Plymouth on 2 November.
