Joel Piroe fires message to Jayden Bogle after Leeds United draw v QPR

Joel Piroe has sent Jayden Bogle a message after Leeds United drew 2-2 against QPR in the Championship on Saturday.

Loftus Road hosted Daniel Farke’s team as the visitors were forced to make a comeback after going two goals down in the first half.

Koki Saito and Steve Cook gave Marti Cifuentes’ team a two-goal lead in the opening 30 minutes before the Whites managed to half the deficit before the break after an own goal from Morgan Fox.

The Elland Road faithful then saw Bogle save their blushes in the 51st minute as the West Yorkshire outfit went back home with a point.

Bogle told eight more games to go after Leeds draw v QPR

Bogle shared a post on Instagram (15 March) after scoring in the Whites’ draw against QPR.

The right-back shared the message “final push after the break” along with his pictures as the international break commences soon.

Piroe commented on the English defender’s post with “eight more”, followed by a fire emoji.

With 38 games now played in the Championship, the Peacocks have eight more fixtures in the league as they sit level on points with Sheffield United.

Elland Road will hope for Bogle to be back to best after international break

Bogle wasn’t at his best as Leeds beat Millwall 2-0 at home in the league on 12 March.

The 24-year-old has been the first-choice right-back at the Whites this season but has had mixed performances.

Farke hopes to win Premier League promotion at the end of the campaign, and the defender will evidently be key in ensuring the Peacocks succeed in their goal.

With some players set to join their national side for the next two weeks, fans will hope they come back to the West Yorkshire outfit without any fitness issues.

The Whites had a decent lead over Sheffield United, having beaten them 3-1 at Bramall Lane on 24 February, but now both teams are on 80 points.

Burnley aren’t far behind and sit third in the table with 78 points, followed by Sunderland on 69 points.

The race to win automatic promotion will heat up after the international break and Farke must ensure his side don’t go into the play-offs.

Southampton beat the Whites in the play-offs finals last season, and a similar result this time around will lead to questions around the German manager’s future.
