Joe Rodon has done something that no other Leeds player has managed this season
Joe Rodon is firmly in a class of his own at Leeds United this season.
Rodon has been one of Leeds’ standout players, as Daniel Farke‘s side tries to survive in their first season back in the Premier League.
A new reveal from Transfermarkt on 19 November shows that Rodon has featured in all 11 of the Whites’ league matches so far, not missing a single minute for the Elland Road outfit.
He is the only player to do so for the LS11 side, showing how important he is to the newly-promoted outfit.
Why is Joe Rodon the only Leeds player not to miss a minute?
Rodon is one of Leeds’ best players, as his composure under pressure, leadership abilities and aerial dominance are key assets.
The likes of Ethan Ampadu and Dan James may well have joined him on that list had they not been struck down by injuries earlier in the season.
- Ampadu missed two matches with a medial collateral ligament injury in his right knee
- James has missed three matches so far this season due to various issues
- Rodon has not had any injury issues in this campaign
However, the former Spurs man has avoided any fitness issues, and his place in the side has been solidified in the process.
What has Daniel Farke said about Rodon?
Farke knows exactly what the Wales international brings to the table, and how important he is to his side’s chances of staying in the division.
The German revealed that he has been impressed with Rodon’s level since the Peacocks returned to the top-flight.
Speaking in October 2025, ahead of the loss to Tottenham, the 28-year-old’s former club, he said: “I think he has proven in the first games that even on this level, he can perform on a top level.
“But the message is to show this consistency, not just over a few weeks or a few months. It’s important to show this over a whole course of the season. It’s more or less, also the challenge for Joe right now.
“So far so good. I think he has played excellently so far. Also I like that he adds more and more to be a goal threat.”
Therefore, it is obvious why Rodon has not missed a single minute of league action for the Whites so far, because Farke believes in his abilities and commanding presence at the back.
He will be absolutely crucial if the Yorkshire side are to keep their place at the highest level of English football, so they will hope that he can stay injury-free and continue his remarkable record until the end of the campaign.
