Joe Ledley slams Leeds United star Dan James for Wales v Estonia

Leeds United winger Dan James has helped Wales to four massive points this week in their quest for World Cup qualification.

Despite scoring in the draw against the Czech Republic and shining against Estonia, Joe Ledley has not been impressed with certain aspects.

The Elland Road speedster has been blasted for his final product when on the ball, as he wasted a couple of counter-attacking chances in Tallinn last night.

Speaking on the BBC during live coverage of the clash last night, Ledley was far from impressed with what he saw.

“Daniel James again, it’s just that final ball,” he said.

“That’s a counter-attack opportunity. He’s just got to have that vision and get that final ball off.”

Not good enough?

This is exactly what Marcelo Bielsa will be working on with James nearly every single day on the Thorp Arch pitches.

Jack Harrison was the same when he first turned up at Leeds on loan from Manchester City, and look what happened over the next three seasons.

The winger turned into a clinical finisher and one of our most important players last season after arriving as an unknown who barely started a game effectively on the wing.

James arrives much further down the line than that, of course, and is only an end product away from becoming one of the most dangerous wingers in the Premier League with his speed.

The Welshman was sensational against Watford, and we have no doubts that given some time, he will become a real star for the Whites.
