Joe Gelhardt potentially injured for Leeds v Fulham
Leeds United wonderkid Joe Gelhardt once again made all of the headlines for the under-23s on Sunday.
The young Whites dismantled Liverpool’s academy in Kirkby 4-0, with the former Wigan talent scoring two wondergoals.
The first was a strike from the halfway line, with his second smashed into the top corner from over 30 yards out.

This wonderful performance has led to many calls for Gelhardt to finally earn his senior debut in the Carabao Cup against Fulham tomorrow.
Worryingly, that may not be able to happen.
Posting on Instagram after the game yesterday, Gelhardt sarcastically thanked Cody Drameh for knocking his back during celebrations.
“Thanks, lad backs killing,” he wrote.

Sarcastic.
Fingers crossed that this is all just one big joke and Gelhardt will be ready for Craven Cottage tomorrow.
The young forward has been sensational this season already, and no one deserves it more than him tomorrow evening.
Thankfully, this was in the first half and Gelhardt went on to smash home another wonder strike in the second period.
Based on that, he recovered quickly and if the knock to his back didn’t flare up overnight into this morning, we should be seeing his name on that team sheet.
With numerous injuries in the squad, Marcelo Bielsa could be relying heavily on his under-23s to make the difference tomorrow.
Gelhardt will hopefully be one of them alongside many of his younger teammates as they look to make a huge impact on the first team.
