Jim White: Leeds United and Andrea Radrizzani to launch push for Europe next season

Jim White has insisted that Andrea Radrizzani is lining up a Leeds United charge for European football next season.

The talkSPORT host shared what Radrizzani has said with Leeds lining up to “charge forward” at Elland Road.

The Whites drew 3-3 against Aston Villa on Wednesday evening, with White admitting both clubs are plotting big pushes.

Speaking live on talkSPORT this morning, White outlined the huge ambitions at Elland Road for next season.

“The reason I’m pushing it this morning is that clubs like Leeds United and Aston Villa, who played a thriller last night, a 3-3 draw, they are lining up to mount a charge,” he said.

“Radrizzani at Leeds has previously stated he believes they can challenge top six next season. They’re lining up to charge forward.”

Charge.

Radrizzani has always been very clear on his vision for the club, and it is no surprise that hasn’t changed.

That is regardless of what has happened so far this season, as we all know it would have been a very different story without injuries to the squad.

White isn’t one to hide when given information, and he is in constant contact with owners up and down the pyramid of English football.

If that is the goal that the 49ers Enterprise share too, as it will be, money will need to be spent this summer, that is obvious.

There are too many areas of this squad that need fixing at this moment in time, and it is very obvious that five new faces will likely be needed.

Full-back, midfield, and in the final third are just three areas that should be targeted, and Brenden Aaronson at RB Salzburg will likely be the first target.

Survive first, then bring it on.
