Jim White apologises to Leeds United fans for what he’s about to say
Jim White said “sorry” to Leeds United fans as he predicted the likely outcome against Liverpool at the weekend.
Leeds face Chelsea next in the Premier League on Wednesday, and it’s the first of two very difficult match-ups for the Whites this week.
Daniel Farke is under severe pressure to turn the tide at LS11, and some think that the upcoming fixtures will to big a task for the German to get positive results.
Leeds will have to get through the Blues first, but before then, White has has already had his say on the upcoming game with Liverpool.
Jim White says Liverpool will complete their turnaround vs Leeds
There are similarities between Farke and Arne Slot‘s situations at their respective clubs, and both managers will need to be at their tactical best to beat one another.
Leeds are in danger of being relegated, while the Reds seem to have lost valuable points in their attempts to retain the league title.
Everything is pointing towards the clash being one of the most fiery affairs seen at LS11 this season.
- Liverpool have 10 more points than Leeds
- The Whites have scored 13 goals this campaign, while the Reds have netted 20 times
- Head coaches of both sides could be sacked soon
While speaking on talkSPORT, White discussed why he believes that Liverpool will make it three wins in a row after their match against Leeds, all because it’s exactly what Slot needs to keep his job.
White said: “I think now they’ve got three points against West Ham – and sorry Sunderland and Leeds fans – they will crack on and make it three wins from three. The turnaround is then complete.”
However, there’s still a midweek game to be played before then, and there’s no reason why Leeds can’t produce an upset.

Leeds have big chance to turn fortunes around
As much as the Whites need to focus on themselves this year, what’s happening around them is also important.
Sunderland are currently in a position that Leeds could only have dreamed of at the start of the season.
Although it may not be the best sight for supporters at the moment, it could actually work in the Peacocks’ favour.
The Black Cats can beat Liverpool at Anfield on Wednesday, and there’s every chance that Leeds can beat Chelsea at Elland Road.
It’s going to be an interesting game week, and a possibility for Leeds to gain momentum is there for the taking.
