Jesse Marsch shares honest verdict on Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich
Jesse Marsch has made it clear that everything is fine between him and Mateusz Klich ahead of Leeds United versus Manchester City.
The Whites boss has suggested that both Klich and Robin Koch had a poor game against Crystal Palace, but both are “important” players for the club.
Marsch is not impressed with Klich’s defending, saying he is “struggling” with the ball.

When asked who is likely to partner Kalvin Phillips in midfield, Marsch said, as quoted by Leeds Live: “Nobody’s best game.
“Klichy and I spoke about what could be better and handling the tough moments. Like him and his personality.
“Big part of our successes so far. Going to need him. He and Robin provide different things. Mateusz Klich more attacking.
“Struggling with the ball and even though MK normally helps us, defending in that moment was the biggest factor because Palace were unbalancing us. Worked out okay. Draw important, but Klich and Robin Koch are important.”
Dilemma
It is a big selection dilemma for Marsch, as Leeds need to be very cautious with their approach against Manchester City.
The Premier League leaders have been in rampaging form and they can destroy any team on their day. The Whites need to stay in the game and look for opportunities to score.
Under Marcelo Bielsa, Leeds lost 7-0 against City at the Etihad Stadium, but under Marsch, that is unlikely to happen.

In the game against Palace that Leeds drew 0-0 at Selhurst Park, Klich was substituted off at half-time after footage [via Marching on Together] showed him having an argument with Marsch on the touchline.
Clearly, Marsch wasn’t impressed with his contributions, that has sparked speculations about whether there is a fall-out between the pair.
Former Leeds goalkeeper Paul Robinson has been left surprised by how much Klich has played this season, and he thinks the Polish midfielder could be sold in the summer.
In other Leeds United news, Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips have send messages to one of their exit-linked teammates.
