Leeds United returned to winning ways in fantastic fashion on Wednesday evening against Newcastle at Elland Road.
Despite going a goal behind against the Magpies, Marcelo Bielsa’s men went on to smash home five goals and hand out the thrashing they have been threatening.
Before the game, Tim Sherwood suggested that the Whites had “blown a gasket” and looked far too tired going into the Christmas period.
Leeds responded in perfect fashion.
Jermaine Beckford has hit back at pundits once again suggesting his former side can’t keep up with these physical demands.
Writing on his personal Twitter account after the game, Beckford sarcastically reacted to the likes of Sherwood and Trevor Sinclair.

Many Leeds fans flooded to the comments to share their reactions, and they loved how their former hero celebrated the win.
It was exactly what the Whites needed after their recent run of form, and everyone started to celebrate, and rightly so.
Leeds made the likes of West Ham and Chelsea run over 5km more than they have averaged so far this season in recent games.
The perfect example that makes the likes of Sherwood look stupid, was the fourth and fifth goals at Elland Road last night.
Despite already winning, and only five minutes remaining, Leeds had five players charging forward looking to extend the lead, with Ezgjan Alioski doing just that.

Everyone remembers that famous clip against Wigan in the Championship when the squad raced back to defend a counter-attack, well, this is the attacking version of that.
The Whites aren’t tired, and they have once again proved their physical capability in the Premier League with ease against Newcastle.
