Jermaine Beckford backs Leeds star to double his career goal tally this season
Leeds have seemingly found their goalscoring touch after a dry start to the Premier League season.
The Whites only scored once in their first four Premier League games, leaving many pundits questioning Leeds’ attacking prowess.
However, they have since fired back with five goals in the games against Wolves and Bournemouth.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Anton Stach and Noah Okafor all fired their first Leeds goals in the 3-1 win at Molineux, while Sean Longstaff did the same against Bournemouth.
However, former Leeds frontman Jermaine Beckford is backing another Leeds star to improve his goalscoring tally this season.

Jermaine Beckford urges Joe Rodon to fire in half a dozen goals this season
Beckford was covering Leeds’ 2-2 draw with Bournemouth for LUTV on Saturday.
The Whites fell behind to an early Antoine Semenyo goal before Joe Rodon headed an equaliser from a Longstaff corner.
Analysing the goal after the game, Beckford suggested that Rodon could fire in another five goals like that this season if Leeds can get their set pieces correct.
He said: “If he can get himself four, five, six goals this season, I think that’s brilliant and it shows how much we’ve improved from set pieces.”
That certainly would be an impressive tally from the centre-back, considering he has only scored three senior goals throughout his entire career. The Welshman now has two goals for Leeds, while he also netted during a spell on loan at Rennes from Tottenham.

Daniel Farke will be thrilled with how his defence has performed this season
Rodon will be thrilled to have notched his first goal of the season, but he likely sees this as an added bonus.
His main job is preventing Leeds from leaking goals, and he has done a fantastic job alongside Pascal Struijk so far this season.
There was no guarantee that Rodon would be a regular starter this season. Jaka Bijol and Sebastiaan Bornauw were signed for big money during the summer to challenge for a spot in centre-defence.
However, Rodon and Struijk started the Premier League opener against Everton and their performances have been solid that Farke cannot possibly drop them.

This defensive solidarity has provide a solid foundation that has allowed Leeds to pick up eight points from their first six games.
If Leeds can keep this run of form going, that will surely mean more to Rodon than any personal goalscoring targets he may have.
