Jeremiah Mullen spotted in first-team Leeds United training ahead of Manchester United clash

Leeds United have welcomed numerous young talents into their first-team training sessions this season, and that has continued.

Injuries have savaged the squad once again, and continue to be a huge worry ahead of the clash with Manchester United on Sunday.

Jeremiah Mullen is the latest of those to make the jump into the first-team set-up and was spotted in training this week.

Leeds shared an image on their official Twitter account on Wednesday (16 February) and it singled in on one man.

“Cold Rapha? (Raphinha),” they wrote.

Fans were overjoyed that the Brazilian was in training, as well as the return of Junior Firpo, who looks available.

Mullen was also spotted, and it looks as though Marcelo Bielsa has been impressed with his rise to the under-23s this season.

Impressive.

Mullen has been one of the standout performers for the under-23s during a tough patch in recent months.

Charlie Cresswell has been out injured, and others have been needed in the first team to cover the problems in that group.

The young defender has been called up by the Scotland youth international set-up as well as signing his first professional contract at Elland Road in the past couple of years, so this is just another step.

There is no chance he will be involved against Manchester United, but this is one of the first steps in what promises to be a big career in West Yorkshire.
