Jeremiah Mullen appears close to Leeds United debut as fresh footage appears ahead of West Ham clash

Leeds United youngster Jeremiah Mullen has once again been spotted in first-team training as Sky Sports have shared footage ahead of West Ham.

The Whites visit the London Stadium to take on the Hammers on Sunday, 21 May, knowing that they need a win to boost their chances of staying in the Premier League.

Football Daily shared training footage from Sky Sports on 19 May and Mullen can be seen in the group with the Leeds coaches taking drills.

Karl Robinson and Robbie Keane can be spotted talking to the players and the 18-year-old Mullen is taking in their inputs.

The teenager is understood to be highly rated among the Leeds hierarchy and it seems to be only a matter of time before he gets his first-team nod.

Michael Skubala, someone who’s worked with him with the under-21s felt he was good enough to be promoted and he even named him on the bench when he was the caretaker manager.

In the 2-0 loss against Manchester United, the centre-back was an unused substitute and it seems like Sam Allardyce’s coaching staff also rate him highly.

He’s enjoyed a good week as he scored a stunning goal for the Under-21s which saw Leeds win 3-0 against Nottingham Forest and secure promotion to the top tier of Premier League 2.

The 18-year-old does seem to be among the better players at Thorp Arch in his age bracket and it remains to be seen if Leeds manage to keep hold of them.
