Jeff Stelling takes swipe at ex-Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa live on Sky Sports News
Jeff Stelling took a swipe at Marcelo Bielsa live on Sky Sports after the Leeds United Under-18s were battered by Liverpool.
On Saturday [9 April], Liverpool’s Under-18s won 10-3 against Leeds’ Under-18s side in the U18s Premier League North.
Before Bielsa was sacked by the Whites, the Argentine was regularly criticised for his side conceding too many goals.

Stelling has now suggested that Bielsa
“Talk about Liverpool, the Liverpool Under-18s have been playing Leeds Under-18s,” said Stelling on Sky Sports News’ Soccer Saturday [9 April, 02:05pm].
“It finished Liverpool Under-18s 10-3 Leeds Under-18s.
“I am not sure if Bielsa is still in charge of Bielsa’s Under-18s or not.”

Harsh
Yes, we get it. Leeds conceded a lot of goals when Bielsa was manager.
How original, how hilarious.
Bielsa was credited often by pundits for being of the most exciting and entertaining managers the Premier League has seen in recent years.
Now he’s gone, don’t start acting as though you didn’t like seeing the high-scoring spectacles.
Some sections of football’s media would seem to prefer watching Sam Allardyce scrap out a turgid 0-0 against Sean Dyche.
They’re two good, English managers who are proven at keeping teams in the Premier League, right?
Well, that changed last season with Big Sam at West Brom and could still change with Dyche at Burnley this term.
Bielsa should be respected for the entertainment he brought with him to these shores, as well as for bringing one of the biggest clubs in the land back to the top flight.
