Jeff Stelling stunned live on air after what Leeds United fan told him, ‘Unbelievable’

Jeff Stelling was left astonished after a fan revealed he had changed his middle name by deed poll to “Leeds United”.

The supporter revealed to the former Soccer Saturday presenter about changing his middle name, and he could not quite believe what he was being told.

Leeds are currently third in the Championship after the 0-0 draw against Bristol City on Saturday 26 October at Ashton Gate.

Relaying the story live on talkSPORT [28 October, 6:07am], Stelling said: “Unbelievable.”

Leeds United latest is unbelievable

Despite missing out on promotion to the Premier League via the Championship play-off final last season, the Whites and Daniel Farke are certainly feeling the love from the fanbase right now.

While Leeds will be disappointed about dropping points to Bristol City, Farke’s side are just five points behind league leaders Sunderland and level on points with second place.

With 15 points from their last seven matches, Leeds are now unbeaten since the 1-0 defeat to Burnley in mid-September, and not even injuries look able to slow them down this season.

Many fans expected Leeds to claim all three points against the Robins, but with Liam Manning’s team also unbeaten since mid-September, it does not look like an awful result in the season’s context.

With clashes against Plymouth Argyle, Millwall, QPR and Swansea City coming next, Farke will hope that his side can close the gap on the top of the Championship table and take charge of the title race.
