Jeff Stelling predicts result of Leeds United Premier League clash v Manchester City for Sky Sports
Jeff Stelling has predicted the result of Manchester City’s Premier League clash against Leeds United on Saturday afternoon (6 May).
The Whites head to the Etihad in what is Sam Allardyce’s first game in charge after replacing Javi Gracia in the Elland Road hot seat.
Pep Guardiola’s side have won nine top-flight fixtures in a row, having brushed aside West Ham United on Wednesday evening (3 May).

Stelling has predicted more of the same in his Super 6 predictions for Sky Sports (4 May), with the Soccer Saturday host backing City to record a 2-0 win.
Kind
Stelling is clearly factoring in Allardyce’s influence. Had Gracia been in charge, that prediction would’ve had City scoring at least five or six goals. Leeds’ defence has been desperately poor of late, and if the score can remain under 5-0, it’s probably a good outcome.
Leeds aren’t expected to get anything at the Etihad, but this game is by no means a free hit. They desperately need points on the board, and, at the moment, their destiny is very much in their own hands. The games against Newcastle United, West Ham and Tottenham are going to be absolutely vital.

Anything can happen at a full Elland Road, and West Ham are also struggling. There’s certainly an opportunity for Leeds to get out of this mess.
Fans will be heading to Manchester with slightly more optimism now Allardyce is in charge. If somehow Leeds can salvage a point, the players will believe they can get out of their current demise.
In other Leeds United news, Gary Lineker has provided his reaction to the appointment of Sam Allardyce as the club’s new head coach for the remainder of the season.
