Jeff Stelling predicts result of Leeds United Premier League clash v Leicester City for Sky Sports

Jeff Stelling has made his prediction for the huge Premier League clash between Leeds United and Leicester City at Elland Road on Tuesday (25 April).

The Whites were beaten by Fulham on Saturday (22 April) to make it four defeats in their last five, and Javi Gracia’s side now sit just one point above the drop zone with six games to play.

Next up is a home clash with fellow strugglers Leicester, and while making his predictions for Super 6 (24 April) Sky Sports host Stelling backed the home side to come out on top with a 2-1 win.

Must win

There is absolutely no doubt and no excuses any more, Leeds must win the game against Leicester on Tuesday night at Elland Road.

Recent home games have been nothing short of a disaster against Crystal Palace and Liverpool, but the team have started well in both games before capitulating under pressure.

The necessity for victory comes from the league table, and the fact we’re in the exact same position as Leicester means they have to attack.

That should create space in behind for our attackers to move into, but defensively the team has to be on point and must start to focus more than they have been in recent games.

Stelling is backing us to get the win in front of the home crowd, and those fans in the stadium need to back the players as much as they can from the first minute to the last to make it more difficult for Leicester.

It’s must win anyway, but a home game against another struggling side should be the perfect remedy for our recent struggles. It’s time to deliver now.

In other Leeds news, one star has been given leave from Thorp Arch and won’t play against Leicester.
